Noticed this weekend that Filo Estiatorio (not to be confused with Folia) no longer exists, and The Greek Grill is now open in the same space, on the NE corner of Pape & O'Connor. Has anyone visited the new location of The Greek Grill yet?

i live spitting distance from it.
i assumed it was the same owners as Filo, since I don't recall seeing it for sale on MLS (yes, i read the listings for fun).
i'm spitting distance from there. i'd consider trying it since they have their own rotisserie outside (or had one), but its the sign for Cool beer that still keeps me away.

Drink a few pitchers of that cool beer and you won't just be spitting distance from it. Are you worried that it doesn't say Cold Beer ?

actually, i'm tempted to go there this friday. its either Greek Grill, Folia or Porchetta and Co. Seriously not in the mood for teh disappointz

If you've never been to Folia I think it's a must try. But what would I know ;-)

been to Folia since the opening. i swear by Folia. i just behave myself or else my waistline will look like a folia.

It's nice to see they use Ontario lamb in their lamb chops.

Think I'll try their grilled octopus & appetizer platter next time I go out for Greek food in East York.

I must have read your original post too quickly... It looks different after a second read. I didn't see you had posted a link to the website and the fact it's a new location. If I had noticed that, I' would not have posted. Time to get another eye exam.
