Butcher Shops?? - South Bay area

Hi All,

I can't seem to find a good butcher shop in the South Bay area. Can anyone recommend a shop that I might be able to specify my cut of beef, pork, veal?? Dry aged steaks would be nice as well.

If there is nothing in the South Bay then the westside would also work...

Thanks in advance,

  1. I usually don't shop for meat at a butcher out here in Cali...

I'd consider trying a Whole Foods location if I want something special. Their butchers seem pretty accommodating.

Or, check out this Korean butcher shop...

these guys are pretty good. most of their pre-cut stuff is asian style, but i've bought whole pork bellies from them (no skin, though).

don't know about veal or dry aged steaks.

    2. Heard this place was good. Haven't been there myself yet.
      Paisano Meats

      1. Uggg. There is nothing interesting here. At least the El Segundo Whole Foods and the Bristol Farms on Rosecrans dry age beef...

        1. Reza,

Manhattan Meats is my go-to butcher shop in the South bay. It's in downtown Manhattan Beach and the prices are very reasonable, and more importantly, great food.

Parking is in the back too!
