The Thirsty Pig - Portland
Anyone who likes sausage and lives near Portland - or plans to visit Portland - needs to check out the Thirsty Pig. Located right in "old Port," it's a great gastropub that focuses on house made sausage.
I tried the kielbasa one night - Lithuanian kielbasa on a grilled, buttered hot dog bun with sauerkraut and mustard. Next trip was the buffalo chicken sausage. That was outstanding!
Non -sausage lovers - no worries! There are other options.
They also have great local beers on tap and free peanuts.
A must try!
