Banana Pudding milkshake in Raleigh?

Westy Mar 12, 2012 09:07 AM

A friend of mine insists there is a local riff on banana pudding, done up as a ilkshake.

He said he got one at a place called "Chuck's." No search reveals either a place called Chuck's OR a banana milkshake.

Any suggestions?

Chuck's is a newish burger place by the owner of Poole's Diner. Here's a link to a CH thread about it:

    Here's a link to a N&O article:

According to their website, they have a salty peanut butter with roasted banana milkshake...

I hear the burgers there are really good. I'd go for the milkshake alone. The price may be a little off putting but not too bad.

I thought the burger was fine, nothing especially exciting. I'd just as soon go to Raleigh Times or Federal if I had a hankering for burgers. I do find Chuck's prices hard to swallow, pun intended. The PB/banana mikshake was very good, though.

Also, Cook Out has a banana pudding milkshake.

And pretty good burgers too--not really the same category as Chuck's (of which I am a fan) but there is a significant cost savings.

Cook Out milkshakes are a guilty pleasure. I haven't had one in so long. Jonesin' for a peach cobbler milkshake from there.

Well the weather is getting warmer. May as well treat yourself.

That's what I thought of - Cook Out has them and they're good.
