La Jolla Late Night

So I'm going there for a one-day meeting but flying in the night before due to plane schedules....I'm staying at the Hyatt....any suggestions for a late night dinner alone besides the hotel? (I'll be getting in around nine.....). Those Southwest peanuts just don't make it.......and it'll be too early to eat when I get to the airport to leave! Thanks!

There is a Roy's located on Genessee just east of I-5 near UC San Diego, not too far from your hotel. Not sure of the hours, though.

San Diego is a tough town for late night eats.
Tamarindo (tapas, etc) serves until 10, according to their website: 1044 Wall St.La Jolla, CA 92037 858-551-7575.
Bully's (steakhouse) serves until midnight daily (858) 459-2768 5755 La Jolla Blvd. You can always just go for a Bully Burger.
I don't think either is super-close to the hotel, but if you've got a car, welcome to the southern california lifestyle.

Next door to your hotel--Flemings Steakhouse may be open late. A bit of a corporate steakhouse but. . .jalapeno cheese potato casserole that goes with their steaks is killer comfort food.

Right across from the front door of the hotel is Fleming's which another poster just told you about and Cafe Japengo. It was where pacific rim cuisine started in San Diego. If you want to have pacific rim from the chef who made cafe japengo popular go down to hillcrest and go to Parallel 33. Amiko is a wonderful chef and Robert will make you feel at home!
