5 Nights in Ogunquit - Here are my picks

HI - we will be in Ogunquit in May for our anniversary. Here are my picks for dinners. MC Perkins Cove, 98 Provence (for our anniversary), up to Kennebunkport for Cape Arundel Inn and for White Barn. 5th dinner is a toss up - Clay HIl Farm or 5-0 Shore Road. We have been before and went to Joshuas where we were underwhelmed as my husband has a dairy allergy and they were not very accommodating. Also, after lots of thought and lots of reading posts here, we've decided against Arrows. What do you all think?

I think your picks look fine although you might throw On The Marsh (which has gotten some good notices here lately) into the mix.

Have you considered heading up to Portland at all? Special creativity at Hugo's or Bresca? Delicious food and refined service at Back Bay Grill?

I think we are going to head up there, but probably not for dinner - just lunch. Any good places for lunch in Portland. Thanks for the On the March rec!

Check out Duckfat, HUgo's chef Rob Evans lunch spot for Belgian fries fried in 25% duck fat and panini sandwiches, or nearby Micucci's for a slice of pizza.

I would swap out The White Barn with On The Marsh - my favorite place there. Black Sushi is good in town (if you like sushi) but they have no air conditioning.

Plan on White Barn - can't call till April but I am super excited about going there. Thanks!

I think you are right on, but would substitute Clay Hill Farm for "On The Marsh" where we have gotten some great food, and the property is absolutely beautiful.

I would add Schulte & Herr in Portland for delicious German comfort food and incredibly friendly service.

We love 98 Provence. Also have been happy at MC Perkins, White Barn, Arrows, 5-O. Have not been to others you mention. We always like Gypsy Sweethearts, too.
