What's the wisdom on Five Star International Buffet

in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki? I'm not a buffet person, but they claim to be a cut above. Anyone been and care to comment?

Went for lunch today. Pretty darn good! In fact we're going back soon.
The quality and presentation is well worth the $19- lunch price during the week.
Weekends are $48- all day just like dinner during the week.

Sushi, Pasta's , Main Courses were all above average. Definitely worth a visit.

confirming russkar's comment, my friends who work in waikiki feel the $19 lunch is worth it, but not so much the $48 dinner/weekend price. I haven't been there yet

at least there is a 15% kamaaina discount which makes it more reasonable. maybe then it's worth the price. then again maybe not.
