Prune advice

Friday evening at 6 my brother and I will be taking an employee who is moving on to dinner at Prune.
We work on the same block.
I have never been there before and have always noticed such widely varying reviews.
He is excited to go there so I guess this is my time to have the experience.
Does anybody have tips of what to order/not order on their current or recent menus?

  1. Don't miss the roasted bone marrow.

    1. I thought Prune's roasted bone marrow pales in comparison to the much better ones at Minetta Tavern, and my gold standard at Blue Ribbon.

      Anyway, the Lamb Shank dish and the Grouper dish have never disappointed me.
