Big Bone BBQ in Vaughan fantastic smoked ribs and wings

I am a big fan of smoked bbq and recently tried Big Bone BBQ at Keele/Major Mac in Vaughan. Some of the best smoked ribs I have ever tasted, and the smoked wings are delicious. I am always on the lookout for new bbq places to try and I was not dissapointed.

    i believe these are owned by the same ppl as the memphis bbq in vaughan (please do not mistaken these guys for the memphis in North York)

      There are two brothers who own Big Bone in Newmarket. They used to own Purple Pig. They have a loose franchise agreement with Memphis and the BB's in Vaughn and Barrie.

      I think their ribs are the best I've had up here. I really like the wings and think the PP is good but don't like that it comes sauced. I don't recall trying their brisket.

      Overall I think it's really good (Only can comment on the NMKT location) but have mentioned repeatedly to the boys that I think they can raise their game. They are reluctant but do consider some things.

      If they are the same owners as Big Bone BBQ in Newmarket then also try the brisket. They also used to have beef ribs one day of the week but not sure if they still do.

        Had lunch there a couple of weeks ago , ordered the brishet sandwich. The meat was absolutelly disgusting I think it was sliced processed meat ,heated up with a bit of bbq sauce and slapped onto a bun . Served with tasteless slaw and well cooked frozen fries . No smoke flavour in the meat at all !!!!!!!!!!!!! I took one bite and sent it back .Staff were sweet , but clueless about the product.The other person with me had a pulled pork sandwich, He said it was ok cause he was hungry , but would not return .I wish people would tahe pride in the product they sell n. If they dont have enough volume to make a fresh consistant brisket , dont settle for serving crap , just take it off the menu
