I love this place!!! Everything we get from them is fantastic.

Where do I start - amazing BBQ chickens, pork chops, sliced ham, burgers - beef, turkey or lamb.

Dinner party last night - 6 beautiful wellington county (I think) beef tenderloins - everyone was licking their plates.

They are our go to place for meat. So glad to have them so close to home. No need to trek over to Cumbrae's anymore.

And besides all that, it's a fun place to shop. Those guys are sick!!

I too was in there last night, got some great steaks, I agree, fantastic place!

Nope, not me Baelsette. Hubby was last there Saturday afternoon to pick up our beef tenderloins and a ham bone for which I made a wonderful pot of split pea soup that I am thoroughly enjoying for lunch as we speak. United Bakery eat your heart out. Mine's better.

That is quite close to me - are their prices similar to Cumbrae's?

A little lower than cumbraes. They have a wide range of products from standard stuff to some pricey dry aged beef.

The beef is well worth the price. Have not been disappointed yet.

I believe one of the guys bought the other out. They are very passionate about their products and take an interest in what you plan to do with them and just like to chat food. I like that, alot.

Their BBQ chickens while more expensive than say Loblaw's crap - are a steal at I think $16. Never have I had chicken taste that good.

I also like those guys.. they are great for ordering special cuts ahead of time as well. Everything I have purchased there has been amazing.

Yup, we like them too. Hubby and I are there at least 4 times a week. Great service, and solid meat goodies.

207 Danforth Ave. This used to be "The Friendly Butcher". I'm not sure if it's the same people running it under a different namem since I haven't been there after the name change.

Thanks. I've been in the Friendly Butcher a couple of times. Didn't know there had been a name change. I prefer to get my meat elsewhere.
