Any one know of places that carry higher quality ones. Will be in town on Friday; don't mind ordering them ahead.

  1. You'll need to order ahead, but one of Sanagan's, Healthy Butcher or the Meat Department should be able to make the connection.

I would go with Sanagan's, every time I have gotten them from the Healthy Butchers they have been frozen. Sanagan's has only given them to me fresh.
Also if you want really high quality ones you might want to check out Famu, but order ahead again.

Beef cheeks are tough as a boot regardless of quality--it ain't steak. Getting someone to clean them is a bonus worth paying for.

I was looking at their website. I am there this Friday so I'll call to make sure they have some. I have been several times to SLM and never noticed this place.

Clued into that after I typed it. Thanks; going to venture to Kensington this time! I've purchased from Whitehouse too. Going to be at St. Lawrence in the morning. Think I will try Sanagams.

      3. Grace Meats on College. Call ahead.

        1. See them at Whitehouse every week at SLM. Go on Tuesday, when they're open again, and I'm sure you're good.
