7 Seas Seafood and Grill - yyc

  • 3

Stopped here for dinner tonight after several times driving by it in a little strip off MacLeod Trail, just north of the Kingsland market. We were pleasantly surprised!! It specializes in Philippine cuisine AND seafood. We had some really good grilled squid, muscles, prawns, all with fantastic grilled taste, along with a great tasting spicy-coconut kingfish and a slowly braised beef short rib. Rice on the side, a couple of beers, and 2 desserts as well. All in, the cost (with tip) was about $85 for the 2 of us. We were very happy to have found this place, and i recommend giving it a try. If you like seafood at a nice price, served by some of the friendliest folks you'll meet, I suggest stopping in for a dinner.

Next time, I hope to be back with a few more folks and be able to get into some of the more authentic Philippine food, family-style.

    2. The fish and chips is surprisingly good too!
