Dinner near the Wit - steak preferred

I am an out of towner - and a vegetarian - so I feel lost making a recommendation for this one! I won't be joining the meal, so not concerned about veggie offerings. The closest option seems to be the McCormick & Schmick's around the corner. I have no experience with this place, just know it's a chain with seafood and steak. Any other quite close suggestions? It may be late-ish, say 8, by the time the group can get away for a bite. (This will be on a weeknight.) Any other suggestions? They have already eaten in the hotel restaurant (Cibo Matto?) on prior trips and want something else.

Within a short walk there are a number of excellent restaurants - including those that focus on steak like Smith and Wollensky's Ruth's Chris, Morton's and David Burke's Primehouse

For a straight steak house David Burke's has gotten some great reviews - I have not been but others on the board recommend it -
