Planning to head to Fette Sau with a group this evening, which can be tricky. If it's too crowded or if they are running low on the food we like, I'd love to have a back-up in mind.

I'm a big fan of Fada, which is nearby. Try the black ink pasta dish or the cassoulet. Both excellent.

If you prefer Japanese, qoo is directly across the street, nextto Polly Esthers.
