Empanadas at boucherie St-Viateur (on Beaubien)

Has anyone tried to empanadas there? I'll need a quick lunch Saturday, I'm guessing they can't be bad. Not sure if La Chilenita on St-Laurent will be opened.

Thanks in advance!

La Chilenita on St-Laurent is closed (permanently), but the Napoleon st. and Marie-Anne st. locations are open Saturdays for lunch.

They have separate webpages - anyone know what that's about?

They're pretty good. The ones I had were Argentine-style, but I don't recall if they had Chilean-style empanadas.

Bah, I'm not that specific, both are fine, as long as they're yummy! Thanks

They have both kinds, and recently, have increased the number of varieties.

Boucherie St-Viateur is still closed for their annual post-holiday-period hiatus. They will be back in the next few days, but it is better to phone.

And their Empanadas are good? I usually go to Chilenita, but it is a bit further, so if the ones from Boucherie St-Viateur are as good (or close enough), I'll definitely try them out.
