Lunch near SUNY-Purchase

Hi, we will be at SUNY-Purchase on Sunday and would like to find a decent place to have lunch with the family close by. I am familiar with White Plains restaurants, but was hoping for something closer to the college. Is there any place worth considering? Does not have to be fancy, just good food. Thanks!

there are 3 restaurants on Anderson Hill Road (the street you take to get into SUNY Purchase). They are China White, a very expensive chinese place; Full Moon, a newly opened italian, look at the the thread it's getting so-so reviews; Cobblestone, a pub/bar with a decent burger etc.

Going the other direction you will hit Doral Arrowwood Hotel. They have a nice pub/casual restaurant in there too

Any of these should work well for you heading to SUNY Purchase

Do a search for Port Chester (on Chowhound) to find lots of great recommendations. You'll be close to the college and not have to deal with White Plains.
