For Friday lent, crab cakes in DTW?

We all know Scotty Simpson's has the best fish & chips in Detroit. Thank you, boagman. Who has the best crab cakes?

It's been a while but one of the best crab cakes I've had in the area was at Union Street -- huge, moist and amazingly good.

Has anyone tried the crabcakes at Mitchells? Some of their dishes are very good, while others are so-so. The crabcakes, which I've not tried, are half price during Happy Hour from 4-7pm.

By the way, the crabcakes at the fish counter at Nino Salvaggios are quite decent.

If you like Boagman's fish you'll probably like Boagman's crab cakes-- http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/7257...

Thx. Yep VTB. Boagman sure knows his seafood. I just wish he knew his sliders.

Oh, but I do! Green's in Farmington Hills are still the best, DB! ;)
