Claire Lara at Riverhill, Wirral (Merseyside)

Claire Lara (masterchef winner) has taken over The Riverhill in Oxton, Wirral. Has anyone tried it, what are your thoughts?

It's on my "to try" list but it'll be some weeks before we get round to it. Menu looks a fairly straightforward "Moden British" take on things at reasonable prices.

My only other visits to Oxton have been to Fraiche and she clearly isnt intendiing to be in competition with Marc or, indeed, with Stuart Warner at the Hillbark in Frankby
