Friday lunch at French restaurant on subway line somewhere between yorkdale and union station

Meeting a friend for lunch and would like to go for French food. Looking to spend $10-20 per entree? I have been to Celestin for dinner before and like it there, but thought others might have a better option. Tried searching old threads but either they were really old, or not specific enough to what I am looking for.

Jacques Bistro du Parc is within a 10 minute walk of Museum Station and St. George Station, and within a 5 minute walk of Bay Station's westernmost Cumberland exit. Most mains are under $20 if I recall correctly. Good place for lunch.

Le Paradis is open for lunch. Probably within a 10 minute walk from Dupont, and a 15 minute walk of St. George Station (straight north on Bedford Road).

Biff's is a couple blocks from Union. Sandwiches and omelettes are less than $20, but most mains cost more than $20. There's also a 2 course prix fixe for $16.95. http://www.oliverbonacini.com/OliverBonacini/media/pdfs/Biffs_Lunch.pdf

Le Select is within a short streetcar ride, and within a 10-12 minute walk, of St. Andrew's Station, and within a 15-20 minute walk of Union. Most mains are under $20 http://www.leselect.com/menus/view_menu.php?menu=lunch .

Jules Bistro is within a 7-10 minute walk of St. Andrew's, and almost everything on the menu costs less than $20.

There are also a couple bistros on McCaul, within a 10 minute walk of St. Patrick's Station, and Elle M'A Dit on Baldwin, which is roughly a 15 minute walk from Queen's Park Station or St. Patrick's. http://ellemadit.com/lunch.html

La Societe is even closer to Museum station than Jacques', but I'd much rather lunch at Jacques Bistro du Parc.

Thanks - will probably go to Coquine as I've been wanting to try it.

I didn't include the French restos open for lunch along Yonge. I was focusing of the ones between Yorkdale station and Union. In addition to Coquine, Auberge du Pommier (York Mills), Didier (St. Clair) and Steak Frites (Lawrence) are on the Yonge line.

Please don't go to Coquine. The food is not good. It is a great Friday night bar, but any of the restaurants Prima suggested are far superior. Mr Vuitton and I made the mistake of going there. There was nothing good about the food
