Any recommendations for a place to hold rehearsal dinner, near Jenkintown?
My son is getting married this summer. The church is in Jenkintown, and we would like a place close to there to for the rehearsal dinner. Unfamiliar with any of the restaurants in the area. I have been thinking about Pieros in Huntington Valley or 211 York Road, as these two have been mentioned by some. Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

I cannot speak for the Jenkintown location specifically, but I just got married a month ago and we had our rehersal dinner at Mirna's Caffe in Blue Bell. It was perfect.
BYOB, and very affordable. They did app, salad, entree, desert, for a set price per person that was extremely reasonable. We were able to offer several entrees as well so you didn't get too boxed in to just one or two for folks to choose from. Highly highly recommend them. But again, I'm not sure about the Jenkintown location or the size of the room. That location is right in the heart of Jenkintown.

Thanks for the reply. I live in Blue Bell, and I have to confess that I have had good and bad meals at Mirna's in the past. I haven't been back in awhile, so it sounds like maybe things have improved, and maybe I should check them out. Definitely worth considering, since you had such a good experience.
