Any brunches like the old Drake's Drum rugby brunch?

I lived in NYC from '78-'86 and frequented Drake's Drum in Yorkville, which served a reasonably-priced "rugby brunch": eggs, cottage fries, bacon, a nice small sirloin steak, English muffin, and a drink. Alas, Drake's moved and then went out of business several years ago, unless it got reincarnated. I am coming back for a visit and meeting some friends for brunch, and I wonder if there's anything around nowadays that would be comparable (and wouldn't involve a long wait for a table). Thanks!
