Visiting Sonoma - Winery and Restaurant Recommendations

A group of friends are celebrating our 40th birthday with a trip to Sonoma. We are out of towners - traveling from various East Coast cities. We are renting a home just 2 miles out of Sonoma Town Plaza and will be staying for five days, Saturday through Wednesday. We will be exploring wineries nearby but also probably making a drive up to Healdsburg, which I've been to before and loved. So, we are looking for recommendations for:

Dining in Sonoma area
Wineries in Sonoma area
Wineries on trip from Sonoma to Healdsburg
Wineries in Healdsburg

We love Pinot Noir and Zinfandel and Sauvingon Blanc. Would love to hit some wineries will Sparkling Wines as well.

Thanks!!

Thanks! This is helpful. We are looking for a combination of wineries with great scenery and smaller wineries where we will be able to learn about the wine making process from knowledgeable folks. We know a decent amount about wine and aren't looking for large, touristy, commercial places, but rather places with delicious wine! We've been to very small places like Acorn in Healdsburg and loved that.

Also - what happened to the Roshambo location? We heard the winery closed. It was a stunning place.
