US Girl Scout cookies in London??

So this is a slightly ridiculous request, but does anyone know where I can get hold of US Girl Scout cookies (ie Thin Mints, Samoas, etc) in London or the UK?

Grew up around them as a kid and have been having nostalgic pangs for them for years now...oh the frivolity...!

Thanks Chowhounders

  1. I've never seen one here in 8 years but maybe they are somewhere. I think Chowhound has some recipes for making your own in case one is really feeling deprived. Just use the search box in the recipes section (I just checked and there are a lot of them!).

yeah i think I got a recipe off chowhound a while ago, but its just not the same!! haha, my bratty requests...thanks for the help though!

    2. The only place I could think might have them is the American Food Store in Ladbroke Grove. It's actually a newsagent's shop but to keep afloat they've taken to stocking a whole bunch of wonderfully frivolous foods from the US. Their online store - doesn't have Girl Scout cookies listed but I'm sure if you went in & had a chat with the owners they'd see what they could do about getting some in for you (I expect they'd be popular).

      1. Again, not sure if they stock it, but worth calling, they're in Covent Garden.
