Perry cider in NYC?

Does anyone know where I can find perry cider in the city? Recently saw it featured on BBC America's James May Drinks to Britain and I'd like to try it for myself. Not looking for pear flavored cider but cider made from actual pears instead of apples, in the English Three Counties or Welsh style. Thanks!

The fruit stalls at Union Square Greenmarket often have proper pear cider. Try Migliorelli or some of the others. I was told that orchard growers won't make pear cider if the pears have been very good that year, but only if there were a lot of bruised ones (fell down in windstorms, etc.), as they'd prefer to sell whole, pretty pears for more than the cider brings. I have no idea if that is true. But I bought pear cider from one of the Hudson Valley growers last month, so I know it can be found. And it's very good.

One of the available local perry's is Doc's from Warwick Winery. It' available at the better beer shops, and some wine shops.

I don't belive Doc's uses any true Perry varieties. But you can find Olivers Perry from the UK - (west midlands) both still and sparkling at Bierkraft in Brooklyn http://www.bierkraft.com/ and perhaps Astor wines on Lafayette
