Picca: A pictorial essay...

Impression / Verdict: Huge menu, mostly hits, with a few misses. Highlights were the ceviche criollo, choritos (mussels), chicharron de costillas (fantastic!), arroz con erizo (just don't call it a paella; it's more of a risotto), and alfajores (cookies for dessert)... We ordered about 30%-35% of the menu - Gotta come back to have the rest of the menu!

Your pictures do more justice to the food than it deserves.

Can you elaborate and what didn't you like?

Some dishes were good (e.g. ceviche and pork ribs), but many of the dishes were ordinary, or just bad.

The black cod, for example, was very average, and the beef hearts were tough and vapid.

The churros and flan were quite tasty, however.

J.L., once again, some very great photography, as always, in your posts. Thanks for the insights.
