Suggestions For Elegant 50th Anniversary Dinner: Uptown

We're taking my parents out for a family dinner to celebrate. We're looking for a place with attentive service in addition to wonderful food and a beautiful room. My father is a retired restauranteur and can be picky. We're considering Auberge and North 44. Any other ideas?

  1. Scaramouche - the space is more understated elegance than beautiful, but the view of the city at night is really beautiful.

YES, YES AND YES. You won't find anything that beats Scaramouche!!

Try and reserve a table by the window but if not available, it's still wonderful. And if you mention it's for a significant event such as your's they almost always add a nice little touch to the desert.

Trust me, they are one of the few spots left in Toronto that know how to do it right. Class all the way without being pretentious.

Enjoy!!! Let us know where you end up and how it went.
