Seeking Parsley Root

Over the next few weeks, if you see parsley root for sale anywhere in Brooklyn, please let me know. It's an ingredient in my departed grandmother's chicken soup, but it's no longer easily found. Thanks!

Glad that you found it--I'll have to check out Circus.

Just for the record, I have found fresh parsley root at the greenmarket in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, at McCarren Park.

However, the last time I was there was last summer...

Thank you all! I found them at Circus, to which I'd never been - it's a great produce market. I hope to try out the other shops recommended above. In the meantime, it's on to the soup making!

Historically, I have bought parsley root at Eagle Provisions, if you ask I believe John will get it.
