What are some of your favorite restaurants to get pierogi?

Check out some of the places in Hamtramck, especially Polish Village: http://www.thepolishvillagecafe.com/ Incredible food for crazy good prices. I like their potato pancakes too, and of course the crepes.

Polish VIllage is great - and I like their food better than Polonia.

I usually head over to the Polish American Cultural Center in Troy. They have a restaurant inside, Wawel, that is open everyday. It's definitely not a fancy place but has excellent, authentic food at a very reasonable price. If you pick the right day you may be watching a polka contest in the other room as you dine. I love this place because more often than not you are surrounded by tables of older grandmas who probably make the same food at home.

No. *I* should have said Lila's on 5 Mile.
