Need Butcher Open until 7pm

I don't get out of work tonight until a little later, but really need to pick up a pork butt to prep. Any suggestions?

Not sure what area you're looking for, but Whole Foods is definitely open that late and might have a butt or two. They regularly carry pork shoulder, so they may have butt as well depending upon what location you're going to. Give them a call ahead.

Pork shoulder and pork butt are actually one and the same (the pig's hind end is the ham), I've gotten them at WF many times though they sometimes are out of them around barbecue-intensive holidays.

I believe there's actually a slight difference between them. I think "pork shoulder" is used to either refer to the entire shoulder or any cut from the shoulder, whereas "pork butt" refers to a specific part of the shoulder, namely the upper shoulder-blade cut. I'm not positive about this, but from what I've read the pork butt is just a part of the whole shoulder.
