Recomendations for Late Celebratory Group Lunch on a Friday
Hi. I am looking for a celebratory place to have a lunch for 15-20 people around 3 or 3:30 pm. I realize a lot of places are closed to transition between lunch and dinner this time, so I would love some ideas of places that would be open. I would prefer to keep it midtown or below, closest to village is the best. Also, the lunch will be in May so if the weather cooperates, I would like a place that has outdoor options or at least lets in a lot of natural light.

It would be helpful to know whether you want something fancy or casual and your per person budget for food only. But that said...
Trestle on Tenth is open continuously all day, serves very good food, and has a lovely garden.

Open and serving continuously throughout the day:
Casa Mono - same menu all day
Lupa - same menu all day
Otto - same menu all day
Balthazar - serves a "afternoon" menu starting at 4pm weekdays, so I guess that means lunch goes until 4pm? I would call them and ask
Bar Room at the ModernSpotted Pig and Maialino also serve a "bar menu" between lunch and dinner, but I'm not sure how they'd handle a group of your size. Best to call and ask.
