Hi all,

Looking for a good breakfast (or diner) place near the Grand Hyatt. Going to be there on a Saturday before taking a cruise out of NYC.

Thanks

If you walk down to 30th Street and Lexington you'll find Penelope. It's a cute little place that has a great breakfast menu with delicious egg dishes, pumpkin waffles and baked goods. Also right across the street from your hotel is Pershing Square. I've actually never been but their pancakes got quite a nice write up as possible best in the city.

Penelope is excellent. If there is a line you can sit at the counter. It's very comfy.
If you want Brunch walk down to Maiailino (I know I spelled that wrong). It's at Lex and Gramercy Park.

        It's Maialino :)

They are on OpenTable and fairly popular, so I'd make a reservation for breakfast/brunch. They start serving at 10am.
