happens to be in Corpus Christi Texas,, If you visit CC, stop by Vietnam Restaurant on N Water St. This was only my 2nd visit, but like my first experience, it rates an 11 on a 10 scale. see the website for their menu at this beautiful, french/vietnamese dining spot.. Nothing on Milam or Chinatown comes close IMHO. Chx and rice soup starter with chx w/lemongrass entree was awesome! Attached Vietnam boutique hotel is next on my hit list.

I like Van Loc in Houston, but admittedly haven't tried a lot of them.

yep, closer to home, van loc is my go to. actually, lately, i've been enjoying mai's as well..

Have you tried Huynh on St. Emanuel? Great food in pleasant surroundings and a true family operation. Better than Mai's and Van Loc in my humble estimation. Need to try the Corpus place--sounds great!

Have been to Huynh 4-6 x.. Very pleasant and helpful family operated restaurant. I thought the food was good. If u find yourself in Corpus on business or pleasure, the Vietnam Restaurant is a destination you must experience.
