What wines to bring at Bibou?

My 23 year old daughter and I have reservations at Bibou next week. I have been told to bring a French Bordeaux and maybe a lighter white wine. What do you all recommend? (By the way, we are staying in town, and taking cabs to and fro the hotel). Can we bring the unfinished wines back? We plan to order a meat menu and not a fish one. Thoughts?

During my dozen or so visits to Bibou there have always been a party of four who bring two favorite reds and one white. If more than one of us knows ahead of time we're likely to order the foie gras appetizer, we may bring a 1/2 bottle of good Sauternes.

We're members of a high-end wine and dinner group and the best advise is to bring something YOU will really enjoy.

The menu changes weekly so check Wednesday to see what you plan to order, then choose your wine to match.

Yes, you can carry out your unfinished wine.

l tend to bring French, usually an Alsace white and Rhone or Loire red. This is a good time to use a good bottle
