Kentish Town Canteen, Kentish Town, London

A solid, well made breakfast of scrambled eggs, soft and wet, in small curds, bacon with a good balance of meaty steaky parts and fat, a plump pink pork sausage, ripping to tighly packed porky and pepper flavour, a smallish and ok portebello mushroom and a half tomato, partly dried in the oen to concentrate flavour. Decent slices of slightly spongy sourdough.

The sticky toffee fondant seemed mostly chocolate -- a thin layer of cakey crispness that broke rapidly into a warm gooey chocolate with a bit of a salt caramel flavour. Excellent liquid chocolate, very satisfying and comforting, scoop after scoop, tempered with some raspberry and ice cream.

      Well, it was a late breakfast. :)

      They serve the full breakfast menu as well as a regular lunch menu on Sundays at least in the late morning/early afternoon; not sure about the rest of the week.
