Veal Parmigiana
We will be in New Orleans next week, staying at the Roosevelt for 4 nights. I am wondering who in New Orleans has the best veal parmigiana? I realize that is a strange request for New Orleans, but I get tired of the typical NO food after a few days.

Domenica, in the Roosevelt for Italian. Sauteed veal w/lemon, no parm. Daily HH, 1/2price wood fired pizza, beer, wine, well drinks. Great lasagna bolgonese (and I am not a lasagna fan). Service is usually lousy but now you know to expect that going in. A Mano onTchoup. also Italian but no parm. Maybe veal parm at Cafe Giovanni. Best bet there is to order the "feed me" tastimg menu.
Not "your typical nola fare":
Coquette, Lilette, Green Goddess,August, Le Foret, POC, The Three Muses, Rio Mar, La Boca, Stella!, Irene's Cuisine.›1 Reply-

As this is one of my favorite dishes, when done well, I will agree. Even with the kitchen working overtime, just for us, they came through 100% on my Veal Parmigiana, and on my wife's Chicken version. Really, really good, and in the upper 10% of all, that I have enjoyed.
Good call,
