Advice - dairy allergy special dinner in London

jrabbit2727 Feb 27, 2012 09:05 AM

Will be travelling to London in May and am looking for recos for an upscale special dinner for my birthday. Price and location is not a worry. Have looked through the many Michelin star restos and it seems that many of them are dairy heavy and organ mean heavy which I'm not a huge fan of either.

So...looking for a special evening where dairy does not factor as strongly or a place with a chef willing to make changes and accommodate.

I had looked at Rasoi as the menu appealed - like that it wasn't the same old things that you get at most other starred restos - but then I read some not so glowing reviews and was scarred off.

The team at Viajante put together a wonderful tasting menu for my lactose intolerant partner, and our night there was memorable in all respects. Worth it for the fabulous artisanal cocktails alone.

Thanks...was thinking of doing the same for Rorganic...but would you say Viajante is better for a tasting menu experience?
