I caught that episode. What did you think?

I'm curious as well. I know this was taped a while ago and wondered if anyone has been since and how things appear to have turned out.

I dunno, but I thought that next we might see worse behavior by an owner. I go to numerous places whose signs say "XYZ Restaurant", and one of them might trademark "Restaurant" and start serving cease-and-desist letters to others using that word.

One of my questions is how in the world is someone allowed to trademark something that is common usage. I know it happens often, but why do the people that process trademarks allow it? But that's not food related...

She trademarked it as an art usage like in a logo on cups so it wasn't on the actual word. But then she enforced as if the mark was on the word itself.

Sick and self serving weirdo. Thinking she got exactly what she has deserved.

The more I think about this, the more I realize it was probably just one more publicity stunt. Tears and giving back the trademark and employees that have stayed for 10 years working for such a "crazy woman" etc. Another reality show that isn't real.

I have not been to Hon for quite a while, but never thought the food was that bad. Not creative, but well prepared for what it was. Did they go downhill after the trademark fiasco? Was the bad food and busy night disaster staged for Ramsay?

      Oh well. That's entertainment.

The night for Ramsey was invited public just for the show so all could sign releases. The big question is..how is it now? Here's the show for those who missed it Friday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P01KOm...

I went for brunch yesterday. It was decent.

A friend had suggested that place when I was in Balt in Nov. but it was in the midst of being revamped. There was an article in the local paper about the bad feelings her trademarking Hon had caused. So I had to watch the show when I saw they were the subject and wondered if it was really that bad. How could you possibly "86" about 8 dishes in one serving? That had to be for the cameras, no? And why would people keep working there for 10-20 years if she was so bad?

my thought exactly! on almost every episode the waiters are so miserable. Is it really so hard to get another waitering job? Especially this place - it's Baltimore there are tons of other places to work!
