Filipino bakeries: Goldilocks v Red Ribbon

So we went to Goldilocks yesterday for the first time ever. Wanted some ube roll and halo halo.

Also happened to drive across the street to Red Ribbon and ordered the exact same thing.

We found Red Ribbon superior in every way...the ube roll at Goldilocks is sooo heavy compared to the one at RR. Halo halo seemed to have more "stuff" @ RR as well, in addition to having a serving container that didn't suck.

Am I missing something from Goldilocks here?

Goldilocks = butter cream, Red Ribbon = whipped cream

I agree. Red ribbon has better cakes, pan de sal, and rolls. I cant comment on the food because I have never ordered non-baked goods from Red Ribbon besides the empanadas, which are good. Goldilock's food is not that great sorry to say.

Both Goldilocks and Red Ribbon have multiple locations. I take it you're referring to the locations on Vermont near 3rd St, as these appear to be the only ones near each other.
