Looking for a few dinner options near DU
I need to find a restaurant for a group of 7 diners near DU. The diners are 3 fans of fine dining, 2 teenagers, a gourmand who eats anything lots of it, and my 75-old mother who rarely dines out. While I'm not necessarily interested in anything too fancy, I would like a nice sit-down dinner before a musical performance at DU next month. I don't live on that side of town so I would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks!

Hmmmm. There are a few options, but to please that crowd - I would say Jordan's is your best bet. (Now that I have written the whole thing - go to Wash Park Grill) Some of the food is really good - and you must put you head in the "Irish Pub" state of mind, although the american dishes are fine. There's Pete's UPC - but that's total diner food. The asian place next to the Border is really good, and that might please the fine diners, but probably not gramma. I have not been into Crimson and Gold yet. If you want something fancier - head to Cherry Creek.
But to name them off:
(these first are at Univ and Evans)
Jordan's
(That Asian place)
Crimson & Gold
Garbanzos - fastish food
It's Greek to Me - fastish food(west on Evans)
Jerusalems
(the burger Joint next to it)
NoodlesOR - head to Wash Park!
Wash Park Grill (MY HIGHEST SUGGESTION)
Max Gill and Grill (NEXT HIGHEST SUGGESTION)
Wash Park Tavern
(there are a few other restaurants on old Gaylor there)(other side of the park)
Sushi Den
Izakaya Den
Opal
Some crepe place
(and there are other restaurants on both those blocks).See - now you have plenty to choose from. :)
