What is the best Korean restaurant in Centreville, Virginia?

I'm looking for the most authentic. Any thoughts?

Not in Centreville, but you can't get much more authentic than Kimchi House. Two little old Korean ladies who cook with vegetables they grow in their garden. And the interior has to be seen to be believed. Spicy pork is outstanding.

It's not a sprawling array of banchan, but it gets the job done. I liked the kimchi, but I'm not fond of kimchi that's too fresh. I like it a little pungent. The bulgogi was just okay, galbi was better, as was the japchai, but the spicy pork was a winner. Don't be afraid to tell them you want it extra spicy.

Yup. Right on Route 1 north of Fort Belvoir.

Past Belvoir on Telegraph is Hunan Deli which, in spite of the name, also does some excellent Korean. Closed on the weekend, unfortunately.

Great topic because I don't think centreville korean places have been much reviewed.

My favorite place (I go 2x a month) is Go Yang Jip. It is actually in Chantilly but I think it is a great hole in the wall. You basicaly go to this place for soups, soon dae, and jok bar. Everything else you can find better, else where.

In centreville, a lot of very solid korean places. But I have not yet found a place that is really outstanding. All resturant seems to be clustering around the pretty good mark.

Any particular specialties you're seeking? I ask, because most restaurants in Korea have specialties, while most in the US have a somewhat broader menu. There is, for instance, a place in Centreville that is soups only, very authentic, but if you are seeking grilled meats, it would be a mistake to go there.
