I was hoping to start making homemade yogort and ricotta. I know I can't buy raw milk in Canada, but would someone have a place for very good organic milk I could use. Also wouldn''t mind sheep or goat's milk...

Ecollegey carries milk from Harmony Organics that is very creamy and delicious. Goat's milk is pretty easy to find in a lot of places like Tau and Rachelle-Bery, best prices are probably at Segal's on St-Laurent.

Thanks so much Plateaumaman. The Harmony milk made a great yogort!

For sheep milk, check with La Moutonnière at JTM.
They don't always have it in stock, but I've purchases 1/2 litres from them a few times.
Perhaps too expensive to be useful for everyday yogurt ($10/litre) but for some recipes sheep milk really is essential.
