help make this cake moist and a bit dense
Here's a list of some of my ingredients. What will happen if I add extra chocolate? Any other ideas on how to get a cake that is moist and a little denser than the average cake? Thanks for any suggestions. 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled 1/2 cup water *3/8 cup sour cream
*1/8 cup shortening *1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract *1 egg *1 cups all-purpose flour, etc
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes one 9 inch cake
What's after ect? any more ingredients? I use a bit more flour sometimes when I want a denser cake. Also, cut down on leavening, usually baking powder, but I don't see it in your ingredients list.
