I have yet to find a really good BBQ rib in San Diego. Real Texas BBQ has great Brisket but only mediocre ribs (see previous BBQ discussion).

The best rib that I've found is at, of all places, Oscars. They make a baby back rib that is a cross between wet and dry, has good deep flavor, and a nice hit of black pepper in the rub. I would suggest trying it out.

  1. Have you tried Phil's BBQ yet - located in Mission Hills on Goldfinch????
They're pretty good - not as good as I've had in Atlanta, Memphis, or of all places - Columus, GA - but pretty decent....

    Good Luck!!
