Graz - Austria
Graz is definitely a great city for chownhounds. The styrians love good food, and even in the smallest corners you might find something wonderful.
Here is a current list of high-end restaurants, as listed by the food guide Gault Millau Austria:
The best delicatessen is right in the city center and not to be missed, it is the styrian version of Zum Schwarzen Kameel in Vienna, though maybe more authentic: http://www.frankowitsch.at/
And for styrian food beside pumpkin seed oil: try the "Klachlsuppe mit Sterz". A soup made from pork knuckles, served with a heavy sort of polenta...
And do not forget: Styria is the source of great beer (Gösser, Puntigamer, Murauer etc.) AND perfect white wine !! The wine growing south is worth a detour and an overnight stay...
