Paris - Speculoos Spread and cupcakes

iheartcupcakes Feb 23, 2012 12:47 PM

Just wondering if any locals can point me as to where in Paris I can buy Speculoos spread - we are visiting in March and I want to stock up (we love it and can't get it in the UK). We are staying near Mouin Rouge so anywhere near there would be most helpful.

Also I write a cupcake blog and if anyone can recommend any places to get good cupcakes that would also be appreciated.

thank you - am I correct in thinking Bercy is on the outskirts/suburbs? Was hoping to find it more central but if not I think I may have to go to Carrefours.
      Thanks again

You can buy it in Paris itself at most Franprix, Mononprix, and Carrefour Markets.

Speculoos are a traditional Belgian delicacy - the French seem to have acquired the taste only recently.
Try speculoos ice-cream if you can find it - it's really addictive.
