Any news about Seven Star Street Bistro? Sounds like it has potential with the chefs story sounding similar to Strip Ts.

I've enjoyed the food in the past, but I find the wait times ridiculous. The first time I ordered (about 2 months after the place opened), I was told it would be a 45-minute wait. I then had to wait an extra 20 minutes after getting there. The second time, I called an hour before the place opened, hoping to eliminate the extra wait time, but to no avail. The time it took between me calling my order in and it actually being ready was nearly an hour and a half. Today, I just called a little before 4:30 and was told--before ordering anything--that food won't be ready until 6:15. Seriously? I appreciate that they make the food to order, but a nearly 2-hour wait time for takeout Chinese food is absurd. And honestly, I find the food to be above average but not hit-it-out-of-the-park. The pork belly buns are amazing and the stir-fried veggie dishes have been great, but the scallion pancakes (without the beef) are standard, the chicken fingers are tiny and nothing special (though abundant), the crispy shrimp was super salty and soggy by the time I got home 5 minutes later, and some of the chicken wings seemed undercooked.

I have seen others dissent however, but for me it's the best Chinese is Rozzie
