Chinatown with kids?

Thinking about spending he day in Chinatown with two 8 year-old foodies tomorrow. Can anyone recommend some must-see, must-eats? I haven't been in years; is that second-floor foodcourt-type place still there? Great hot-pot? Bakeries or specialty shops that might be fun? Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Food court is gone but Royal Pacific, which used to be there has a stand alone restaurant on Tyler (south of Kneeland). Not much on decor but good wok hei in their Cantonese food. Second Winsor for dim sum and Great Taste for dim sum and their bakery.

Windsor Cafe is always good and the small ones can investigate a lot of dishes. I like the pan fried sticky rice, pan fried fish dumplings, and stir-fried turnip/radish cake with XO sauce. But pretty much everything is good, and (seriously) the chicken feet in black bean sauce are awesome.

The food court is gone. But there's lots of good hot pot. You can't go wrong with any of them: Shabu Zen, Q, Hotpot Buffet, Kaze Shabu Shabu.

Gourmet Dumpling House is worth a trip, but its small.. if you are only a 4-top, maybe, but a larger group is always chancy - can they handle any heat (not that they have to to eat there..).

It's just the three of us...chancy at lunch? Budding palates, but good kids willing to try most things. I'm actually the one who loses feeling in her lips with too much heat ;).
