Would the Buddakan in Manhattan be a good place to have a sweet sixteen with a party of no more than 10 people? My price range is around $50pp and we're hoping to be able to dress up, but not arrive over dressed.

  1. If you're not drinking, $50pp might be doable.

    This might help.

    1. I think Buddakan is a great venue for this. The room is attractive in a trendy, borderline gaudy way. But probably fun and lively enough for a 16 year old's bday dinner. The dishes are good for sharing and without alcohol you can probably accommodate your budget. My job had a holiday dinner there for a group of 15 and we all had a great time.

        1. Yes. Good venue, the kids will love it. Make sure they explore the entire space. Focus on many apps and skip the main dishes. Have fun.

          1. I think $50 pp is very doable. The edamame dumplings will be a big hit. I think the Library Room would be good to ask for, as it would seem more like your own party.
