Suggestions for a post-matinee dinner on a Saturday, please?

Hi!

I'm taking my wife to see a "Jersey Boys" matinee on a Saturday in April. Looking for a nice romantic place, about $$$, anything but Indian, Thai or Sushi.

Thanks!

It's directly across the Majestic theater, very appealing atmosphere, and the food is delicious and not very expensive.

It a huge, tourist-laden pizza place. Far from romantic and not $$$.

OP - Does it have to be in theater district?

Well, it's gotta be -- at worst -- on the periphery: neither my wife nor I walk very well.

Hmmm, Lamb's CLub isn't too far from August Wilson Theater.

I suggest you take a cab to La Grenouille, on 52nd St., just east of 5th Ave. Note that jackets are required (but not ties).

I love La Grenouille. If that is too expensive get some seafood at Bluefin.

        2. Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I actually went another way: I made reservations at Keens Steakhouse (36th & 6th). We'll cab it over.

          Thanks again!
