Can you give some more details on what you are looking for? Here are the places that I go in that area that might fit your plans...
Mexican - El Toro or Taco Loco 2
Pizza (and I guess the chicken is good too) - Turtles or The Tin Shed
BBQ - Mr Pig Stuff (only take out)
Bar-type food - Buffalo Tap (just outside Shakopee on 13 West)
Tex-mex - Axel's Bonfire (Savage)Some of these places might not be open at lunch, so just double check before heading over.

It's a relatively recent opening in the old original Taco Loco (#1?) location on the west side of 101. That location in itself makes it go pretty unnoticeable to most. The only reason why I heard of its existence is because I use to go to that Taco Loco location before the #2 location opened by Dangerfields.
Here's some more info from the Chaska Paper a few months back...

re: AnneInMpls
I used to go there when I worked at the Shakopee Seagate. Old DQ building where you order at a screened window in the front. They also have a drive-thru. Good selection of stuff. They have (had?) picnic tables around outside. It's across from the Malt company on the western edge of town. As you head west, look for it on the right side; blink and you'll miss it. Guys who'd worked in Shakopee for years had never heard of it.
